Anne Langdon

Anne Langdon is a member of the Lazy River Writers, a group of women, with whom she meets monthly to have her writing spirit refreshed.

Anne joined the Lazy River Writers as one of its founding members, at a time when her writing began to take a different direction.    To that date, text book writing had been her forté.   Recently retired from an academic life of teaching, she began to explore the field of fiction.    Success came her way.

Historical Writing

Recently, Anne has turned her writing skills to biography, through her business, Personal History Scribes.    She has so far been commissioned to write eight life stories for clients.   These range from Family Histories to Career Highlights of an Overseas’ Aid Worker.

The memories Anne records are often private versions of significant local and world events, and as such are valid parts of history.

Anne is an alumnus of Monash’s School of Historical Studies.  She has an Honours Degree in History, and studied for a Master of Human Bio-ethics.
