Woorilla
Woorilla magazine is an independent literary journal in its 15th year of publishing short stories, poetry, articles, book reviews and black and white graphics. Woorilla adheres to being ‘literary but accessible’ and although based in the Dandenong Ranges of Victoria, and reflecting the cultural and natural spirit of the Dandenongs, also publishes both established and emerging writers from across Australia and also from overseas.
Australia is a country in transition and in search of a new national consciousness. Woorilla offers writers the challenge to explore our country’s cultural and political landscape in producing both fiction and non-fiction underpinned by examination of the important issues facing us all.
